No. B. 12024/1/2023-SEC/VC/MADC/22    : In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-rule (1) of Rule 3 of The Mara Autonomous District Council (Election to Village Councils) Rules, 2014, the State Election Commission, Mizoram hereby notifies that the Model Code of Conduct for Political Parties, Candidates and Persons holding public offices shall come into force with immediate effect within the areas of the concerned villages where General Election is to be held and shall remain in effect till announcement of Results of General Election to Village Councils under Mara Autonomous District Council.
