No.B.12023/1/2024-SEC/LADC/26 : In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (a) of sub-rule (3) of Rule 142 and sub-rule (4) of the Lai Autonomous District Council (Constitution, Conduct of business, etc.) Rules, 2010 as amended, the State Election Commission, Mizoram hereby notifies that the Model Code of Conduct for Political Parties, Candidates and Persons holding public offices shall come into force with immediate effect within 12-Lawngtlai Chandmary MDC Constituency area where By-Election is to be held and shall remain in effect till Announcement of the Results of By-Election.
