WHEREAS, in pursuance of the Notification of even No., dt. 13.11.2017 issued by the State Election Commission, Mizoram under Rule 3 & Rule 37 of the Mizoram Municipalities (Election to Local Councils) Rules, 2015 read with Rule 16 of the Mizoram Municipalities (Ward Committee and Local Council) Rules, 2010, By-Election to 1/3 Durtlang Local Council, 2017 under Aizawl Municipal Corporation was held under the direction, superintendence and control of the State Election Commission, Mizoram to fill-up the casual vacancy of 1 (one) Member for Durtlang Local Council (General) on 8.12.2017; and

 

WHEREAS, in pursuance of Rule 75 of The Mizoram Municipalities (Election to Local Councils) Rules, 2015, the result of the election in respect of 1/3 Durtlang Local Council in the said By-Election has been declared by the Returning Officer concerned.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, the State Election Commission hereby notifies the name of the member elected in respect of the said Local Council, along with his party affiliation as shown below :
