Dated Aizawl, the 6^th September, 2023

Subject :       Restriction on use of Loudspeaker / Public Address System during Campaign Period.

                        The State Election Commission, taking all aspects into consideration, hereby orders that general use of Loudspeaker/Public Address System by the Candidates during Campaign Period shall not be allowed. However, Candidates or Political Parties intending to organize public meeting and/or rallies must obtain prior permission from the District Magistrate or Sub- Divisional Magistrate of the concerned District in the forthcoming By-Election to 22-Siaha East-I MDC Constituency within Mara Autonomous District Council.
