No.B.12011/1/2020-SEC/CADC/VC/3 : In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (7) of Section 3 of The Chakma Autonomous District Council (Village Councils) (Amendment) Act, 2014 and sub-rule (5) of Rule 3 of the Lai Autonomous District Council (Election to Village Councils) (Amendment) Rules, 2011, the State Election Commission, Mizoram hereby notifies that the Model Code of Conduct for Political Parties, Candidates and Persons holding public offices is hereby enforced with immediate effect till completion of the process of General Election to 88 (eighty eight) Village Councils under Chakma Autonomous District Council, 2020 and By-Election to 71-Council Veng Village Council, 2020 under Lai Autonomous District Council.
