Dated Aizawl, the 16^th January, 2025

Subject :       Restriction on use of Loudspeaker / Public Address System during Campaign Period.

                        The State Election Commission, taking all aspects into consideration, hereby orders that general use of Loudspeaker/Public Address System by the Candidates during Campaign Period shall not be allowed. However, Candidates or Political Parties intending to organize public meeting and/or rallies must obtain prior permission from the District Magistrate or Sub- Divisional Magistrate of the concerned Districts in the forthcoming General Election to Village Council within Aizawl, Lunglei, Serchhip, Champhai, Mamit, Kolsib, Saitual, Khawzawl and Hnahthial District.
