I, do hereby announce that the process of General Election to Village Councils under Chakma Autonomous District Council, 2025 has started and the Model Code of Conduct has come into force within Chakma Autonomous District Council area from now till completion of the Election process i.e. 18th March, 2025.
The Schedule of Election is as follows:
1. | Announcement & Issue of Notification-Schedule of Election by State Election Commission | 14th February, 2025 (Friday) |
2. | Issue of Notification-Schedule of Election by the Returning Officers | 14th February, 2025 (Friday) |
3. | Last date for Filing of Nominations | 19th February, 2025 (Wednesday) (upto 3:00 P.M.) |
4. | Scrutiny of Nominations | 21st February, 2025 (Friday) (11:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.) |
5. | Last Date for Withdrawal of Candidature / Nominations | 24th February, 2025 (Monday) (till 12:00 Noon) |
6. | Date and Time for allotment of symbols to Candidates and display of list of Candidates | 24th February, 2025 (Monday) (1:00 P.M. onward) |
7. | Date of Poll | 12th March, 2025 (Wednesday) (7:00 A.M. - 4:00 P.M.) |
8. | Counting of Votes (Counting of Votes shall commence as soon as poll is over) | 12th March, 2020 (Wednesday) |
9. | Date of Re-poll, if any | 13th March, 2025 (Thursday) (7:00 A.M. - 4:00 P.M.) |
10. | Counting of Votes (From 5:00 p.m. or as soon as possible after the Poll is over if polling is continued after 5:00 p.m.) | 13th March, 2025 (Thursday) |
