In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-rule (5) of Rule 3 of the Lai Autonomous District Council (Election to Village Councils) Rules, 2011 as amended and sub-section (7) of Section 3 of the Chakma Autonomous District Council (Village Councils) Act, 2011 as amended, the State Election Commission, Mizoram hereby notifies that the Model Code of Conduct for Political Parties, Candidates and Persons holding public offices is hereby enforced within 3 - Mualbu 'L', 40 – Darnamtlang, 86 - Lungpher 'S' & 91 - Vawmbuk - II (Vaivakawn) Village Council Constituencies under Lai Autonomous District Council and 4 - Borapansury – II, 37 - Ajasora – II, 68 - New Jagnasury – I, 72 – Samuksora, 80 - Parva – IV & 84 - Kamalanagar – V Village Council Constituencies under Chakma Autonomous District Council with immediate effect till Announcement of the Result of By-Election.
