NOTIFICATION

 

Dated Aizawl, the 28th August, 2020

 

                   WHEREAS, in pursuance of the Notification No.B.14015/1/2020-SEC/LC/9 issued by the State Election Commission, Mizoram on 5th August, 2020 under sub-rule (1) of Rule 3 and Rule 37 of the Mizoram Municipalities (Election to Local Councils) Rules, 2015 read with Rule 16 of the Mizoram Municipalities (Ward Committee and Local Councils) Rules, 2010, as amended, General Election to Local Councils was held for the purpose of constituting 59 Local Councils within Aizawl Municipality on 27th August, 2020;

 

                   AND WHEREAS, the results of the elections in respect of 59 Local Councils in the said General Elections have been declared by the Returning Officers concerned; and

 

                   NOW, THEREFORE, in pursuance of sub-rule (3) of Rule 77 of the Mizoram Municipalities (Election to Local Councils) Rules, 2015, the State Election Commission, Mizoram hereby notify the names of the members elected in respect of the said Local Councils, along with their party affiliations, in the SCHEDULE enclosed to this Notification.
