NOTIFICATION

Dated: Aizawl, the 17^th December, 2021

            WHEREAS, pursuant to Notification No.B.12024/1/2020–SEC/VC/MADC/Vol-I, issued by the State Election Commission, Mizoram on 22^nd November, 2021 under sub-rule (1) of Rule 3 and Rule 37 of the Mara Autonomous District Council (Election to Village Councils) Rules, 2014 as amended, By-Election to Village Councils was held for the purpose of filling up of 14(fourteen) Casual Vacancies under Mara Autonomous District Council on 16^th December, 2021; and

                        WHEREAS, the results of the elections in respect of 7(seven) Village Councils under Mara Autonomous District Council has been declared by the Returning Officers concerned; and 

                        NOW, THEREFORE, as provided under sub-rule (3) of Rule 77 of the Mara Autonomous (Election to Village Council) Rules, 2014, the State Election Commission hereby notifies the names of the Members elected in respect of the said 7(Seven) Village Council Constituencies under Mara Autonomous District Council along with their party affiliations, in the SCHEDULE enclosed to this Notification.
