In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (7) of Section 3 of the Chakma Autonomous District Council (Village Councils) (Amendment) Act, 2014, Rule 5 of The Chakma Autonomous District Council (Election to Village Councils) Rules, 2007 as amended in 2013 and sub-rule (5) of Rule 3 and Rule 6 of the Lai Autonomous District Council (Election to Village Councils) Rules, 2011, the State Election Commission, Mizoram hereby calls upon 88 (eighty eight) Village Council Constituencies under Chakma Autonomous District Council and 71 - Council Veng Village Council Constituency to elect members to the Village Councils as shown below:-
